Another milestone for The Midway Phantom!:
Its 2004 flight into NAS North Island to become "the" display aircraft for the Midway Museum was the
LAST FLIGHT BY A NAVY F-4 PHANTOM II!

It was the end of the Phantom's magnificent history which began when
the first Phantom was delivered to the Navy by McDonnell Douglas in 1960.
